Golden Crispy Stuffed Pizza Pockets

 Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
¾ cup warm water
1 cup pizza sauce
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup pepperoni slices or cooked sausage (optional)
¼ cup bell peppers, finely chopped
2 tablespoons black olives, sliced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

 Instructions:
Make the dough
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar. Add olive oil and warm water, then mix until a dough forms.
Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 20–30 minutes.
Prepare the filling
In a bowl, combine pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni or sausage (if using), bell peppers, olives, oregano, and garlic powder.
Divide & roll
Divide dough into 6–8 equal pieces. Roll each into a small circle (about 12–15 cm wide).
Fill the pockets
Spoon filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a border around the edges.
Seal
Fold dough over to form a half-moon shape. Press edges firmly and crimp with a fork to seal.
Brush & prep
Place on a lined baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
(Optional: cut a small slit on top to let steam escape.)
Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Cool slightly & serve
Let cool for a few minutes—cheese inside will be very hot!

 Optional Variations:
Add mushrooms, onions, or cooked chicken for different fillings
Sprinkle Parmesan or sesame seeds on top before baking
Serve with extra pizza sauce or garlic dip

 Tips:
Don’t overfill or they may burst while baking
Seal edges well to keep that gooey center inside
For extra crispiness, bake on a preheated tray or pizza stone
