 Cheesy Bacon Stuffed Rolls

Ingredients (8–10 rolls)

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg

Filling

  • 1½ cups mozzarella cheese (cubed or shredded)
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • Optional: cheddar cheese, cream cheese, or garlic powder

Topping

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Extra bacon bits
  • Chopped parsley or chives

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough
    • Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
    • Add warm milk, butter, and egg.
    • Knead until soft and smooth (8–10 minutes).
    • Cover and let rise 1 hour, until doubled.
  2. Prepare filling
    • Mix cheese and bacon together.
  3. Shape the rolls
    • Divide dough into equal balls.
    • Flatten each piece, add filling in the center.
    • Seal tightly and shape into smooth balls.
  4. Second rise
    • Place on lined baking tray.
    • Cover and rest 20 minutes.
  5. Bake
    • Brush tops with melted butter.
    • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  6. Finish
    • Brush again with butter.
    • Sprinkle bacon and parsley on top.
    • Serve warm for maximum cheese pull 🤤
