Pineapple BBQ Meatballs (Easy & Delicious)
Ingredients
- 500 g (1 lb) meatballs (beef, pork, chicken, or frozen)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)
- 2 tbsp pineapple juice (from the can)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Optional: sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
Slow Cooker (Best Flavor)
- Add meatballs to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Pour sauce over meatballs and add pineapple chunks.
- Cook LOW 4–5 hours or HIGH 2–3 hours, gently stirring once.
- Garnish with green onions and serve.
Stovetop (Quick)
- Brown meatballs in a pan (if raw).
- Add sauce mixture and pineapple.
- Simmer on low 15–20 minutes until thick and glossy.
Oven
- Place meatballs and pineapple in a baking dish.
- Pour sauce over.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway.
